Monday - Friday - 8:30 am - 7:00pm (Due to staff shortages our clinic may be open until 5 or 5:30pm on certain days)

Billing Policy
We are a Mixed Billing Clinic. Accounts must be settled on day of consult. Bulk Billing exemptions MAY apply.
Standard Consultation $80 - Rebate $42.85 - (Out of pocket - $37.15)
Long Consultation $114 - Rebate $82.90 - (Out of pocket - $31.10)
Private Fees can be paid on the day by Cash or EFTPOS and the facility to directly process your Medicare rebate is available on site.
Consultation Fees exclude extra service costs such as Procedure Fees, Materials Used and Vaccinations.

Berwick Healthcare Parking Permits
If you are visiting us, Free Parking is available with a displayed parking permit on the dashboard of your vehicle.
Please ask reception for a Parking Permit if you will be here for >1 hour.

Results, Recalls and Reminders
As per the Berwick Healthcare practice policy patient's must book a follow up appointment with their doctor to discuss results. If there are any urgent results a doctor will contact the patient to make an appointment.
Home Visits
For patients of the practice who are too unwell to attend the clinic a home visit can be arranged by phoning the practice nurse before 10 am
Interpreter Services
Our clinic uses the TIS National and Auslan interpreting services to help our patients with their consultation. Speak to reception if an interpreter is needed for your consultation.

Transfer of patient documentation
Our clinic is registered with Healthink and Argus for secure communication between practitioners. If this is not available, we communicate via fax.
We use encryption software to password protect any confidential information sent via e-mail.
If moving to another clinic we will require a signed request from you to release your medical history which will be sent as a Health Summary at no cost. If you prefer to have your full file transferred, we can send on CD by registered post to the requesting doctor or you may choose to come and collect.
There will be a $20 administration fee for full history transfer via registered post or $10 if you collect the disk from the front desk.
Phone Calls
Phone consults ONLY for existing patients who consulted in clinic within the last 12 months.
Doctors can be contacted by phone, all urgent calls will be dealt with promptly.
Drugs of addiction prescribing
Drugs of addiction will not be prescribed over the phone and will need a face to face consultation. Please also note our practice policy also states that NO Drugs of addiction will be prescribed on first visits.
Lost Property
Please contact us on 9796 1500 If you believe you have left something at our clinic. We will hold item/s up to 2 weeks on site.
Privacy, Email and Social Media Policy
This practice follows the Commonwealth Privacy Act - Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 in relation to your records. All staff have signed confidentiality contracts and are aware of the importance of maintaining security of your records.
